Snow Day

WTF!

It has been a while. I know. What can I say, corners sometimes get cut. RVA experienced its biggest snowfall since I have lived here over the past few days. I had 7 inches of snow in my back yard. Ouch, e. I almost forgot what winter felt like. In the soft sunny south July and August are our hard months, not March. In a bit of irony, i registered for the Camp Hilbert Race Series #1 Enduro race on March 8th. Less than 48 hours later the race may be in jeopardy due to snow! Who would have thought that. Last year at CHRS #1 it was misty and mild, or June in Maine like, as I have coinded it. Now, the terrain would resemble past long outings at Bretton Woods on the skate skiis more than an MTB enduro.
I am not sure how the race will finish. I have not ridden 5 hours total in february, so either I am going to pass or fail. My goal is 7 laps or 42 miles. If i can complete that I will be more than happy and drunk by 3. Russell the muscle and I may parade the whole damn thing. Slo and low that is the tempo. I will write a report for ya'll. In the meantime, be well.

Glad you're back.
March gave Mass a big, swift kick in the nuts this weekend as well. I've about had it, I'm moving south.
